Voyage au Pays du Pain
On May the 25th, Julien and Ines’ journey to France began at the Alliance Française of Shanghai ! From 3 :30 to 5 :30, SYB and the Alliance Française of Shanghai welcomed curious and bread lovers from all around Shanghai to celebrate the departure for France of two SYB graduates : Ines and Julien.
Since 2011, SYB bakery and pastry classes are taught by three graduates from the first enrollment of the charity program. Based on their outstanding capabilities, Pierre Flore and Nora were selected to study French at the Alliance Française of Shanghai before they left for France where they successfully graduated from the French school of Bakery and Pastry of Aurillac (EFBPA). The three of them have been teaching SYB students since their return to Shanghai in August 2011. In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the program SYB is happy to send again two promising graduates to further their bakery training in Aurillac where they will gain all the skills needed to become SYB teachers themselves. On June the 16th 2014, Ines and Julien will fly with Air France to Paris where they will spend a few days before starting their training in the beautiful region of Auvergne, in the center of France.
During the event at the Alliance Française of Shanghai, both graduates and SYB teachers initiated participants to the secret of French bread and cake decoration. Ines and Julien took this opportunity to show their skills and decorated breads were given to representatives of the Alliance Française and Air France to thank them for their support. «Voyage au Pays du Pain is a chance for us to share what we’ve learned and to truly thank institutions such as the Alliance Française of Shanghai, the Cavilam-Alliance Française of Vichy and companies such as Air France and Carrefour for their support. Without them, we wouldn’t be that close to our dream» said Ines, 21 years old. Currently following French classes generously offered by the Alliance Française of Shanghai, Ines and Julien wish to take the best out of this rare and precious opportunity. To make sure they are ready to follow classes at EFBPA in the best conditions, the CAVILAM-Alliance Française of Vichy will complete their French language training by offering two months of intensive French studies in Vichy upon their arrival in the South of France. All this is made possible by the generous support of Air France who kindly offered them plane tickets to France.
If entrance and participation to workshops were free, all benefits from lucky draw tickets and SYB products sold on that day will help the charity program cover the financial costs of both students’ living expenses in France. In this year marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and the People’s Republic of China, all together we bake it happen !

面包王国之旅
5月25日,张帅和金会子的赴法旅程从上海法语培训中心启程了!从下午三点半到五点半,海上青焙坊和上海法语培训中心欢迎了来自全上海的面包爱好者来为海上青焙坊的两位毕业生——张帅和金会子的赴法之旅践行!
从2011年开始,海上青焙坊的烘焙和西点课程就是由3位第一届的毕业生教授。基于他们出色的能力,张政海、肖金金和王莉被选拔赴法国奥里亚克烘焙学校进修烘焙和西点。在出发去法国之前,他们在上海法语培训中心学习法语。他们三人自从2011年从法国学成归国之后就一直在教授海上青焙坊的学生烘焙技能。为了保证SYB项目的长期可持续性发展,海上青焙坊又将送另外两位出色的毕业生去法国奥里亚克烘焙学校进修烘焙,并在学成之后成为海上青焙坊之后的老师。在2014年6月16日,张帅和金会子会乘坐法国航空公司的班机飞往巴黎,之后他们会前往法国的中心——美丽的奥弗涅。
在这次于上海法语培训中心举行的活动期间,海上青焙坊现在的老师和毕业生都带领参与者们探索了法式面包和蛋糕装饰的奥秘。张帅和金会子借此机会向大家展示了他们的烘焙手艺并向上海法语培训中心和法国航空公司赠送了艺术蛋糕以对他们给与SYB的帮助表示感谢。“‘面包王国之旅’让我们可以分享我们所学并感谢那些支持我们的机构,例上海法语培训中心、Cavilam-Alliance Française of Vichy和给与我们帮助的公司,例如法国航空公司和家乐福。没有他们,我们不可能像现在这样离我们的烘焙梦想如此接近”21岁的金会子说道。上海法语培训中心目前慷慨地为张帅和金会子提供免费的法语培训课程,他们两人都希望能够好好珍惜这宝贵的机会。在法国奥里亚克烘焙学校的法语授课项目对张帅和金会子来说并不轻松,为了使两人能够更好地适应当地的环境,CAVILAM-Alliance Française of Vichy会在他们抵达法国中部之后继续为他们提供为期两个月的高强度法语培训。而这一切也要感谢法国航空公司给予的帮助,他们慷慨地为张帅和金会子提供了免费的赴法机票。
