The Young Bakers volunteer at You Dao’s children Christmas Party
海上青焙坊学员参与忧道儿童圣诞派对志愿活动
On a cold Sunday morning, the Young Bakers together with A Pleines Mains (APM) volunteers, helped bring smile to the children of You Dao Foundation.
在一个星期日寒冷的早晨，海上青焙坊学员和献爱心的志愿者一起给忧道基金会的孩子们带去笑容。
On Sunday, December 14th, the Young Bakers woke up early to bring some warmth to the migrant children of You Dao Baoshan center. You Dao Foundation helps migrant families in Shanghai to improve their lives and provide education to their children.
12月14日，周日，海上青焙坊的学员们早早起身前往忧道宝山中心给外来务工子女带去温暖。忧道基金会通过改善外来务工家庭的生活境况和为他们的子女提供教育资源来帮助他们。
On that morning, 59 children, aged from 5 to 12, were impatiently waiting for their visitors and the surprises they had prepared.
当天早晨，年龄5到12岁的59个孩子，心急的等待着他们的客人和其精心准备的惊喜。
During the first half of the morning, the Young Bakers volunteers split into 3 teams to guide their little “brothers and sisters” to play different games: recognizing sounds, scoring with a ball and dressing up with costumes. Both volunteers and children had a lot of fun and we could feel the strong connection as if they had known each other for long. The second part of the morning, all the children gathered into the tiny classroom to listen to the story of Christmas and learn about Santa Claus. Secretly meanwhile, Santa Claus and his elves were getting ready for the Christmas presents distribution. After listening to the story and promising Santa they all had been behaving well, each student could take a picture with the “old grandpa” and his elves, and receive presents, all of them kindly provided by the organization A Pleines Mains. APM is a non-profit organization that collects material and financial donations to distribute them to different charities throughout China.
初到，海上青焙坊的志愿者们被分为3组分别带着他们的“弟弟妹妹”一起玩各种游戏：慧耳听音，球类着装打分。志愿者和孩子们玩得高兴，似乎冥冥之中已经认识许久。随后，孩子们聚集在小小的教室里，聆听着圣诞节的故事并了解圣诞老人。与此同时，”圣诞老人”和“精灵们”正秘密准备着圣诞礼物的发放。孩子们安分的听完了圣诞老人的故事，每个小朋友都可以和这个圣诞老爷爷还有他的精灵们合影并收到圣诞礼物，所有的礼物都由献爱心提供。献爱心（APM）是一个募集物资和资金分配给不同中国慈善机构的非营利组织。
The morning ended with a birthday celebration for the children born in December and everyone could taste the delicious cakes and breads baked by the Young Bakers for the occasion.
这个温暖的早晨以12月孩子们的庆生会收尾，每个小朋友都可以品尝到海上青焙坊特意为这个时刻准备的蛋糕和面包。
