The Young Bakers learn about fire safety

On Sunday, November 8th, the Young Bakers gathered at the baking center for a special training about fire safety. We had the chance to welcome Mark Xu, specialist of fire safety issues currently working as an engineer at a well-known German company. No matter if in a kitchen or at home, it is important to know what to do in case of an emergency such as fire. Thus, for around two hours, Mark explained to the students how the fires are accidentally started, how fast they can spread and what are the steps to follow if it happens. The students even got the opportunity to practice an emergency evacuation from the SYB baking center and gathered downstairs outside the building.

11月8号星期天，我们青焙坊的学员在烘焙中心集合，进行了一场特别的消防安全培训。我们有幸迎来Mark Xu先生，他是一名防火知识专家，目前在一家著名的德国公司担任工程师。不论在厨房还是家中，面临突然着火等紧急情况知道如何逃生非常重要。因此，Mark用2个小时向学员们讲述了火灾事故的成因，以及火灾发生时的疏散和应对措施。同学们还在烘焙中心的大楼外面进行了紧急疏散演练。
