On both May 18th and 25th, the Young Bakers had the chance to enrich their training and acquire more knowledge useful to their future career in the food & beverage industry!

During two sessions, Clare, the manager of Goroka coffee company, generously shared his knowledge with the Young Bakers.

于SYB烘焙中心楼下。办公室内配备了非常温馨舒适的咖啡店陈列区,向大家展示如何巧妙地制作咖啡。

During two sessions, Clare, the manager of Goroka coffee company, generously shared his knowledge with the Young Bakers. During the first session, Clare patiently demonstrated to the students how to make the basic types of coffee which appear on almost any menu: espresso, americano, cappuccino, latte, etc. He explained the difference between each of them, in the taste, the making process, the ingredients as well as the look and texture. The students had the chance to taste coffee, which was for most of them the first time!

在两次咖啡培训中,果卡咖啡的经理林聪先生大方地与学员们分享了他许多咖啡领域的知识。在第一次交流中,林聪先生非常有耐心地向学员们展示如何制作各类简单的咖啡,如意大利浓咖啡,美式咖啡,卡普奇诺,拿铁等。 他解释了不同的咖啡在味觉,制作工艺,配料,卖相和纹理的不同之处。对大部分学生来说,这可是第一次喝到了咖啡。

During the second session, Clare explained to the students how important the selection of the beans is to have good coffee, just as the selection of the flour in baking to make good bread. He also explained the origin of the beans and some theoretical knowledge about coffee. This is definitely a great addition to their training in French bakery and pastry, and gives them useful tools for their future career!

在第二次课程中,林经理告诉我们咖啡豆的选择是制作一杯好咖啡的关键步骤,正如好的面粉才能做出好的面包。同时,他还介绍了咖啡豆的起源及咖啡的部分基本理论知识。这对于学员们的法式烘焙培训而言显然是非常好的补充,也必将对他们的未来事业产生帮助!
