SYB students have their first outing on the Bund
On September 1st, for the 6th batch of students’ first outing in Shanghai, the young bakers went on a walk to visit Shanghai most famous sights. From People’s Square, we went down to Nanjing Road, busy as usual, and finally reached the Bund, where we paused to admire the scenery.
As SYB gradually affirms its expertise in the bakery field, more and more prestigious hotels are willing to hire our students as interns and we saw many partner hotels during our walk. On Nanjing Road, we stopped at Sofitel Hyland Hotel, which belongs to Accor Group, our sponsor this year. The students were all very excited when we told them that two of them would be working there as interns!
On the Bund, every young baker took a photo, with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the Pudong skylineas its background. Some students also took photos with their dorm-mates and with members of SYB team. All in all it was a lot of fun!
After our visit to the Bund, we went to a traditional Chinese restaurant nearby to taste Shanghai local snacks and have dinner together.

外滩之行:海上青焙坊新生的第一次集体出游
9月1日,海上青焙坊的第六届学生在上海进行了第一次集体出游。年轻的烘焙师们用脚步丈量了上海的几个著名景点。我们从人民广场出发,途径热闹繁华的南京路步行街,最终到达外滩,在那里欣赏了黄浦江两岸的景色。
由于海上青焙坊渐渐展现出了其在烘焙领域的专业性,有越来越多的知名酒店愿意雇佣我们的学生作实习生,在这次出游中,我们也看到了很多我们的合作酒店。在南京路步行街,我们停下参观了索菲特海仑宾馆,它隶属于我们今年的赞助商雅高集团。当我们告诉学生今年将有两位学生在那里做实习生时,他们都非常高兴!
在外滩,每一个年轻的烘焙师都以东方明珠电视塔和浦东的高楼为背景拍了照。有不少学生还和他们的室友、SYB团队工作人员拍了照。总之,大家都玩得很尽兴!
结束了外滩之行,我们前往一个传统中式餐馆,一起品尝了上海的特色小吃。
