SYB joins Shanghai French Week

In a pleasant autumn afternoon, October 21st, the eleventh Shanghai French Week was held at YanDang Road, near the beautiful Fuxing Park. During the Shanghai French Week, visitors can taste the local French foods as well as experience the true French culture. SYB also joined this grand party and its arrival brought the atmosphere to the peak.

The most eye-catching surprise brought by SYB was the bread house designed by Wang Li and made by all three teachers. It was a delicate house completely made of Baguette and bread. When the bread house arrived at the stage, it immediately caught all people’s attention. People were curious whether it was true bread. Some kids could not resist touching it and even wanted to bite it. It was the house that only appeared in their dreams.

Besides the bread house, SYB also brought a lot of tasty bread made by our students. During the exhibition, students cut the bread and invited visitors to taste the traditional French bread. On the stage, one of our bakery teachers, Zhang Zhenghai demonstrated how to bake Baguette, croissant and country bread. He introduced the steps involved in bread-making, such as kneading dough and leavening bread and invited the audience to try it by themselves.

We hope that this demo will inspire the audience and make them want to learn how to bake from our one day public baking classes!

海上青焙坊参与上海法国周

在10月21号，一个秋风和煦的下午，第十一届上海法国周在雁荡路如期举行了。在法国周期间，参观者可以品尝正宗法国美食，体验法国风情。海上青焙坊也加入了这次盛大的展览，海上青焙坊的到来也将现场气氛推向高潮。

最吸引人眼球的莫过于海上青焙坊的面包房子了。这个面包房子由我们的老师王莉设计，三个老师一起制作。面包房子非常的精致且完全是由法棍和面包制作而成。当面包房子到达舞台，它立马吸引了大家的目光。人们非常好奇这个面包房子是真是假。一些孩子忍不住想触碰它，甚至想咬一口。这可是只会在他们梦中出现的房子呀。

除了面包房子，海上青焙坊也带来了许多由我们学生自己制作的美味面包。在展览期间，学生们邀请参观者品尝由他们制作的传统法国面包。 在舞台上，我们的老师张政海向大家展示了如何制作法棍，羊角面包和乡村面包。他仔细介绍了面包制作的每一个步骤，例如捏面团和发酵。张老师还邀请观众一起参与，让他们亲身体会做面包的快乐。

我们希望这次展览会激发大家对做面包的兴趣，使他们想要参与我们的一天公众课程从而学会面包制作技能！
