SEE Market: The compliments of customers are our biggest support!
On Feb.22nd, Saturday, the teachers and students from SYB brought the products that they had baked in class–Macaroons, Lemon Tart, Charlotte, Religieuse, Paris-Brest– to the Social Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (SEE) Market. Many warm-hearted friends also volunteered to come and contributed to promote our program.
Teacher Zhang Zhenghai and volunteers introduced the operational model of Shanghai Young Bakers. Many customers, attracted by our tempting cakes, couldn’t help tasting the works of art of the Young Bakers.
After trying the cakes, two customers even came back to two students and said, “You are amazing! These desserts are so delicious! Please keep up the good work!”
The SYB students were very pleased by these words as the encouragements of our customers are their biggest support. To many consumers, these cakes were just desserts. However, to the students at SYB, these cakes stand for their effort, their growth and even their future and dreams.
Hopefully, they can take their works of art to even more places and let more people know the joy of French bakery in the future.

玫瑰坊集市:顾客的肯定就是最大的支持!
2月22日,星期六,海上青焙坊的学生和老师们又带着他们一周里完成的烘焙艺术品去了玫瑰坊社会企业市场出售。这次售卖的法式甜点包括修女泡芙、马卡龙、柠檬挞、夏洛特、布里斯特泡芙等等。也有许多志愿者自愿报名前来帮助海上青焙坊的市场推广和宣传。
活动当日,张正海老师和志愿者们向大家介绍了海上青焙坊这个公益组织的运作方式。许多顾客被这些可爱诱人的法式蛋糕所吸引,纷纷前来品尝。
有两位顾客在品尝了海上青焙坊学生们的劳动成果之后还特地跑过来对两个学员说:“你们太厉害了,这些甜点很好吃,请继续加油!”
海上青焙坊的学员们都很受鼓舞,他们认为顾客的肯定就是对他们最大的支持。也许对于许多顾客而言,他们购买的蛋糕/甜品只是甜点,而对于海上青焙坊的学员们来说,这些蛋糕代表着他们的汗水和付出,代表着他们的努力与成长,更代表着他们的未来与梦想。
希望在不久的将来,海上青焙坊的学生们能将他们的烘焙艺与西点术品带到更远更多的地方,也让更多的人能都体会到法式烘焙的乐趣与魅力。
