Recruitment of SYB’s 5th batch

SYB project manager, Cécile, and Zhao laoshi, social educator went to Shanxi, Henan and Anhui to interview the candidates for SYB’s 5th batch. SYB trainers also joined our interview in Baoji, Shanxi, and Fuyang, Anhui.

Our first stop was in Baoji, Shanxi where we have two partner NGOs: Baoji xinxing and Madaifu. We met their three candidates on August 3rd. During the interviews we could feel how eager they were to seize this opportunity and their desire to learn a specific skill so that to lighten the burden on their family.

We then went to Henan and Anhui where Chi Heng foundation has many offices. Although we arrived during the weekend, the staff in Chi Heng had professionally prepared the interviews. During the interviews we got to know better the children’s stories and experience. We saw how determined they were, and we are confident that they will cherish the opportunity they’re given by SYB.

After this round of interviews, 23 students were accepted that will arrive in Shanghai on August 25th. Welcome to the new Young Bakers!

第五批学生面试

SYB前往陕西、河南、安徽对报名参加海上青焙坊第五批培训的候选人进行面试。在陕西宝鸡和安徽阜阳，我们的烘焙老师加入了我们的面试。

我们的第一站是陕西宝鸡，陕西宝鸡有我们的两个合作机构，分别为宝鸡新星和马代夫之家。8月3日我们来到他们的中心和他们推介的三名候选人见面.面试时可以很清晰的感觉到他们对这个机会的渴求，他们想学习一门手艺，为家里减轻负担。

接着我们到了河南、安徽，这里有我们的合作机构智行基金会，这次我们分别前往了河南驻马店和周口的办公室和安徽阜阳办公室进行招生。尽管我们是在周六周日到达的，办公室的工作人员依然很专业的为我们安排好了面试的前期工作。在面试中我们了解了更多关于这些孩子们的故事，他们曾经的经历和他们现在的决心让我们相信他们会珍惜这个学习的机会。

我们相信经过面试，最终入选海上青焙坊的23名新学员，在一年的学习中可以做的很好，我们在上海等着他们的到来。
