Magnolia Kindergarten’s super-heroes baking with SYB
At SYB, we are always happy and proud to share our passion of baking and at the same time receiving the support to help our future young bakers.
It’s in our sister charity, Village 127 bakery and coffee shop, that we received two classes of kids from Magnolia Kindergarten. They wanted to discover the job of a baker and we prepared more than a visit, it was an unforgettable moment where these super-heroes became “super-bakers”.
For the whole day, the children got the chance to experience what it’s like to be a “super-baker”:
>> Wearing the authentic chef’s costume with a tall funny hat.
>> Following the instructions from Liu Dong, our bakery teacher, for the baguette preparation.
>> Kneading, mixing, crafting and baking: their hands worked the dough to the perfect consistency using just the right amounts of flour and water to give it shape and texture.
>> Discovering the kitchen of Village 127 bakery.
In the afternoon, the children shared their final product after their nap.
