A very special pastry class…for the wedding of Céline, 1st program manager of SYB!

Life is full of magical moments, moments that you would like to share with your family, friends and people you love. Marriage belongs to one of those special moments… Celine, the first program manager of Shanghai Young Bakers, decided to share this moment with her family but also include SYB in this special day.

On April 12th, we had the chance to welcome Celine & Jean-Baptiste, their family and friends to our baking center for a wedding cake pastry class, where everyone participated in making their traditional French wedding cake, a beautiful “pièce montée”

By mixing the ingredients, preparing the dough, baking every little puff, filling them with pastry cream then sticking the 351 puffs together to create a one meter high tower, the family and friends of Céline and Jean-Baptiste passed all their love and best wishes to the happy newlyweds. At the same time, they shared a lot fun by doing this activity together.

In the end, the guests said that it was the best wedding cake that they had ever tasted, because it had been made with love from their family as well as SYB. This cake is also very meaningful since all the proceeds from this class will go back to our charity program and help us to empower more underprivileged Chinese youth.

一堂特别的西点课:海上青焙坊第一任项目主管婚礼蛋糕制作课程!

生活总是充满了惊喜的时刻。每个人都希望能够和自己所爱的家人和朋友来分享这些美好的瞬间。而婚礼当然就属于这美好瞬间中的一个。海上青焙坊的第一任项目主管Celine就决定和她的家人以及海上青焙坊分享她步入婚姻殿堂这一天的喜悦。

4月12日,我们在烘焙中心高兴地迎来了Celine和Jean-Baptiste以及他们的家人朋友。他们每个人都参与了美丽的法式传统婚礼蛋糕泡芙塔的制作。

大家制作原料、准备面团、认真烘焙每一个小泡芙、在泡芙里注满奶油然后再将351个泡芙叠在一起最终完成了一个一米高的泡芙塔!Celine和Jean——Baptiste的朋友们通过这样特殊的方式向这对新人传达了他们的祝福与爱,而同时,他们在制作的过程中感到非常愉快。

最后,婚礼的嘉宾们都说这是他们所尝过的最好吃的婚礼蛋糕,因为这由海上青焙坊和家人朋友对这对新人的爱制成的。而且,这个婚礼蛋糕也非常有意义,因为课程所得的款项都会成为海上青焙坊公益项目的资金,以帮助我么来帮助更多的中国贫困青少年。
