5月19日，烘焙大师Pascal Tepper在烘焙中心为学员们上了一堂烘焙课。Pascal Tepper赢得了法国久负盛名的最佳职人奖（MOF）。MOF每四年举办一次，选出包括烘焙行业在内的162类职业的最佳工艺大师。
烘焙大师Tepper与学员们分享了他参与此次赛事的经理。烘焙业共有130位参赛者，将通过三次比赛选出最佳选手，包括理论考试、地方选拔、决赛。决赛持续三天，既考察理论知识，也考验实际操作。决赛中，选手要烘焙不计其数的产品，还包括一个限定主题的产品。（Tepper第一次参赛时，主题居然是“飞行行业的先驱”！所以他们需要用面包制作出一架飞机！）所有的这些作品必须在第三天的最后三个小时内烘焙完成。
学生们被他的故事吸引，更被他当天的表现震撼：他在几个小时内做出了满满一长桌的面包。甚至有个学生问道，中国人是否能参加MOF。可惜不可以，但我相信我们的学生们将来定会晋升中国最佳烘焙大师行列。
自从Tepper当选MOF后，每年飞行750小时在全世界范围推广烘焙技术。我们很开心他选择青焙坊作为他中国之行的其中一站。
On May, Sunday 19th, master baker Pascal Tepper gave a demo to SYB students at our baking center. Pascal Tepper won the highly selective award of “MeilleurOuvrier de France” (MOF) in 2000. The MOF competition is hold once every 4 years and aims at discerning the best craftsman in 162 categories, including of course bakery.
Master bakerTepper shared with the young bakers how he spent years preparing for the contest, and finally was among the winners. He explained how 130 contestants fought to go through the 3 steps of the competition: the theoretical test, the regional selection, and then the final exam, a 3 days long exam, both theoretical and practical. During that last step the candidates have a huge order of products to bake, in addition to their own masterpiece that has to be in line with a very specific theme (the first time M.Tepper took part in the competition it was…the pioneers of aviation! Yes, they had to bake a plane out of bread!) All these products can only be baked during the last 3 hours of the 3rd day!
The students were deeply impressed by his story, and no less by the impressive quantity of products he managed to bake in only a few hours on that day. One of them even asked Tepper if the MOF was open to Chinese nationals…unfortunately not, but I trust that our students will work hard to be among the best Chinese bakers one day!
Ever since he has been elected a MOF, Master Tepper flies over 750 hours a year to promote bakery all around the world …we’re glad that he honoured SYB of his visit during his stop in China!
