海上青焙坊于昨日参与了River of Hearts（爱心之河）的志愿活动，并为所有参与活动的志愿者提供了芒果慕斯和香草夏洛特蛋糕。爱心之河旨在为富人提供捐助衣服、鞋子、床具、玩具和其他日常用品的机会。大概每四个月，爱心之河会把捐赠的物品集中起来，召集志愿者对物品进行分类。之后捐赠品将分类打包，运送到中国的偏远乡村。

青焙坊的学员们和参与爱心之河的其他志愿者一起，把市民捐出的衣物按性别、季节、年龄分类，以便分门别类运送至有需求的人群。因为青焙坊是公益组织，青焙坊的学生们可以直接带走合适的衣物。现场，学生们认真规整衣物，不时因遇到稀奇古怪的衣服而哈哈大笑。

值得一提的是，青焙坊的同学为此次参与活动的志愿者们带来了美味的蛋糕。我们带来的蛋糕很快被分食一空，只剩下桌上十个空空的蛋糕盒。

感谢志愿者们的工作，当日打包了260个包裹、193个箱子，并全部运往偏远山区。

On March 2Nd , SYB attended the volunteering activity organized by River of Hearts (ROH). River of Hearts is a charity program whose mission is to provide a way for people to donate clothing, shoes, bedding, toys and other items in good condition to people in need. Three times a year ROH gathers all donations and organizes “sorting parties” where volunteers are invited to give a hand. At these sorting parties the donations are organized, bagged and loaded for transport to rural areas within China.

In order to make it convenientfor recipients to find what they need,students from SYB along with other ROH volunteers sorted donated clothes according to gender, season and age. As SYB is a charity program ROH agreed that our students could take some clothes back. Students were quite devoted to the sorting and laughter often burst when students found some strange clothes.

The students had brought the delicious mango mousses and vanilla charlottes that they had baked during the week to share with other volunteers. The cakes we brought were quickly eaten up, leaving only 10 empty cake boxes on the table.

Thanks to the great work of all volunteers, 260 bags and 193 boxes were sent to rural regions on that day!
