Warm Gathering of Shanghai Young Bakers on Mid-Autumn Night
海上青焙坊的中秋夜团聚
The Mid-Autumn Festival is the second most important festival in China throughout the year. On Mid-Autumn night the harvest moon is supposed to be the brightest and fullest , and people believe it is a symbol of prosperity and family reunion. So on September 27, all our current students and teachers, SYB team and some of the graduates staying in Shanghai gathered at the baking center, and spent an unforgettable Mid-Autumn night.
中秋节是中国一年当中第二重要的节日。人们把中秋时的月亮看作繁荣和团圆的象征，因其最为皎洁圆满。9月27日，海上青焙坊全体学员、部分在上海的毕业生、老师、团队成员齐聚烘焙中心，一起度过了难忘的中秋之夜。
Earlier that day after finishing the purchase of foods and other necessary ingredients, the Young Bakers got down to prepare for the dishes. Being a traditional activity, cooking is really a challenging while funny mission for the students who are following professional French bakery training. But all of us were really impressed with what they were capable to cook!
学员们提前采购了食材，开始准备晚上的菜肴。烹饪是海上青焙坊中秋节的传统活动，对于正在接受专业法式烘焙培训的学员们来说既具有挑战性，又趣味十足。而他们的厨艺同样让大家印象颇深！
With the delicious meal enjoyed, all the students and teachers gathered and sat in a circle. Wang Li, one of the earliest three trainers of SYB, graduate from the 1st class , helped to deliver the Chinese pastry certificates to the 7th batch of students together with the program directors. It was extremely exciting to have the graduated students back again, and see them all holding good jobs as bakers.
佳肴享用完毕后，在场的学员们和老师围坐在一起，王莉老师和项目总监开始为第七届学员发放毕业证书。王莉是海上青焙坊第一批毕业生，也是最初的三位培训师之一。这些毕业生如今作为烘焙师都有了不错的工作，实在让人欣慰激动。
Then came the most exciting part: performance! The Young Bakers had prepared several interesting performance, such as singing anddancing.
随后最让人激动的环节来了：节目表演！学员们准备了歌曲演唱、舞蹈等精彩的节目。
At the end of the evening,moon cakes generously donated by Banyan Tree on the Bund were distributed to every student. As moon cake is such an essential part of the Mid-Autumn Festival, this final little award was able to make the students feel the most of the festival. We are very glad that Shanghai Young Bakers is like a big family, where everyone cherish and support each other, SYB go go go !!
晚会最后，由上海外滩悦榕庄赠予的月饼被分到每个学员手上。作为中秋节最重要的部分，学员们能从月饼中感受到节日的浓浓气氛。我们为海上青焙坊家一般的凝聚力感到欣喜，这里的每一个人都珍惜和支持彼此。海上青焙坊gogogo!!
