The autumn coolness doesn’t diminish warmth in our hearts

– for the first activity of SYB in2012

In the afternoon of November 18, 2012, under the guidance of SYB social educator Quanli, eight students from Fudan University led by Zhang Luhai, the SYB activities contact, and Yang Zhengjing , Vice Minister of the undergraduate homeland activity organization of Fudan University, went to Caoyang vocational and technical schools to carry out the “SYB students Thanks Giving Activity”.

The aim of this event is mainly about through three hours of communication, to enable students to have thankful interactive learning, to enhance mutual understanding and trust between the students, and to let them be grateful to the people around them and express the gratitude of the hearts of people around.

The first game is self-introduction. The members of each group needed to introduce themselves, and then the next student must repeat the introduction of the first two students coupled with the introduction of himself. The group that spent less time was the winning group. Group A cooperated with each other, with outstanding performance, becoming the first to complete all the team members’ introduction. Correspondingly, group B had to accept a little punishment game. Although Group B lost the introduction game, the acting ability of them was very strong. They sang their favorite songs, wining a warm applause of the audience classmates. Through this part of the game, we effectively enhanced mutual communication and understanding between students of the two sides, and created an enjoyable atmosphere.

We also carried out the second game: you act I guess. Each group was to send a student who was responsible for performing all possible body language to convey information as accurately as possible to the other team members. And the other students had to guess the meaning. Participants in the game fully utilized the intelligence and the body language and imagination together to complete the game. Through this game, the tacit understanding between students of the two sides has been further enhanced.

After the two fun games, we entered the event’s theme area: Give thanks to people around us. Host first broadcasted a brief video, in a beautiful and soothing background music. The students gradually immersed in thinking. The classroom became quiet. Although this activity seemed tranquil quiet, not as funny as other parts of the game, people realized more things in this activity.

Then, we held the birthday party for 4 students, sent them carefully prepared small gifts, sang Happy Birthday song and wished them to achieve their dreams. Other students also sent their sincere blessing. Then our students danced in the classroom with smile in the face of every student. At last, we took photos together. The camera captured our youth and smile.

All our best wishes to SYB!
