On Friday June 7th, Shanghai Young Bakers was invited to take part in the event organized by Carrefour Headquarters for their employees to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival.
Carrefour Foundation is one of the most important partners of SYB as it has sponsored all the operational expenses of SYB program since its inception in 2008. This event was the occasion to celebrate the five years of cooperation between Carrefour and SYB, and to thank Carrefour Foundation for renewing their support for 2013-2014.
For this occasion we brought the hand-made quiches, breads, croissants and brioches that the students had prepared for their bakery exams that week. Moreover, our pastry Chef had prepared a wonderful French-style “Piece Montee” representing both Carrefour and SYB logos! Everybody was really impressed by the cake and proud to see the name of Carrefour associated with the one of a charity program helping disadvantaged Chinese youth. All the afternoon, from 3pm to 5 pm, nearly 400 persons participated to the event and came to taste all the SYB products. All the quiches whether bacon or vegetables disappeared in a few minutes and the employees really enjoyed SYB products.
To commemorate the five yearsof cooperation between Carrefour Foundation and SYB, we decided to make a big poster on which the employees could sign and write a word of support. Many employees enjoyed the initiative and took photos of them in front of the poster. They were all really glad to sign and to get to know better a charity program that has grown under the impulse of Carrefour Foundation. A lot of people were interested by the program and to get involved more actively.

6月7日，家乐福总部为员工们举办了端午节聚会，海上青焙坊也受邀参加。
家乐福基金会是青焙坊最重要的赞助商，自2008年青焙坊成立之初即提供赞助，赞助覆盖了全部运营费用。本次聚会恰是青焙坊和家乐福合作五周年之时，青焙坊特为此次庆典特制蛋糕面包，感谢家乐福继续为2013-2014届学生提供资金支持。
青焙坊带来了手工制作的乳蛋饼、羊角、布里奥，都是上周学生们的考试作品。我们的培训师更为此次活动特制了家乐福资金会Logo标志的法式泡芙塔！看到泡芙塔，大家都十分惊喜，他们更自豪的是，家乐福的名字与这样一个帮助中国贫困青少年的公益组织联系到了一起。整个下午，大概400人参与了此次活动，品尝了青焙坊的产品。所有的乳蛋饼，不论是培根味还是蔬菜味的，都在几分钟内分食一空。看得出来，大家都很享受我们的产品。
为纪念合作五周年，我们特别制作了巨大的签名墙，家乐福员工可在其上签名，写下对SYB的祝福。大家纷纷上前签名并在签名墙前留影，表示愿意了解家乐福资金会资助的公益项目。许多员工对我们的项目很感兴趣，希望更积极地参与其中！
