SYB family gathers for an evening of food and fun
October 12th was a date that the SYB team and students were very much looking forward to. As every year at the mid-Autumn, it was the day for the SYB family gathering!
When the Young Bakers graduate, we put them in touch with employment opportunities and help them to kick off their new career. However, even after they start living an independent life, the bonds between the graduates and the SYB program always remains. When I go to the baking center I’m often pleasantly surprised to find one or several graduates who took the opportunity to have a day off to pay a visit to their former teachers and meet the new Young Bakers!
To celebrate these bonds and enable our graduates and the new batch of students to mix, we organized an evening of food and fun at the baking center. 35 graduates came, and enjoyed the dinner prepared by the 7th batch! The Young Bakers had cooked the whole day to impress their guests and when the graduates arrived 50 delicious dishes from Shaanxi, Gansu, Yunnan, Shandong, Henan, Anhui, Yunnan and Sichuan were waiting for them!
After this feast, everyone watched the performances that the 7th batch had prepared, including pop songs, folk songs, riddles and even some very impressive kung-fu! As their internships were about to start, the students also had the opportunity to ask questions to the graduates, who shared their own experiences working as trainees in 5 star hotels.
All in all this was a very fun evening, and it was extremely moving to see how much the graduates have changed and grown since going through our training. From a formerly turbulent student who is now in charge of a whole bakery to a previously shy Young Baker who spoke in front of 70 people that night, it was obvious the difference that SYB has made to their life. This is the biggest reward for our team’s hard work; long live the SYB family!

海上青焙坊家庭团聚，趣享晚会与美食
对于海上青焙坊的团队以及学生而言，10月21日是一个盼望已久的日子。海上青焙坊大家庭都会选择在每年深秋的这一天团聚。
当海上青焙坊的学员们毕业后，我们会协助他们寻求就业机会，并且过渡到新的职业生涯。事实上，即便毕业生们开始了自己独立的生活，他们与我们的项目之间始终有一条斩不断的纽带。每当我前往烘焙中心时，我经常能够无比欣喜的发现有一个或是几个毕业生在他们的公休日中，花上一整天的时间来烘焙中心探望他们曾经的老师以及新的海上青焙坊学员。
为庆贺这些因缘纽带，并且将一批又一批的毕业生与的新生们不断的联系起来，我们在烘焙中心组织了一场充满美食并且乐趣横生的晚会。35位毕业生前来参与，品尝了由第七批海上青焙坊学生准备的美味佳肴！当毕业生们来到烘焙中心时，50道来自山西、甘肃、云南、山东、河南、安徽以及四川等地的风味美食已经准备就绪。为了能给客人们留下深刻的印象，海上青焙坊的学员们为此以及了准备了一整天。
在饱餐一顿后，大家一同观赏了由第七批学员带来的精彩表演，包括流行歌曲、民歌、谜语，甚至还有令人印象深刻的功夫表演！由于他们即将开始实习，这些学生得以向毕业生们提问，而毕业生们也与他们分享了自己曾在5星级酒店担任学徒时的工作经历。
总之，这是一个充满乐趣的晚会。同时，也让我们非常感触地看到这些毕业生在经历了我们的培训后，得到了怎样的改变，经历了怎样的成长：一个曾经是不听话的学生，如今负责着一整个面包房；一个曾经是羞涩内向的海上青焙坊学员，如今却能在70多位观众前自信的演讲。显然，海上青焙坊已经帮助他们改变了他们的人生。这对我们的辛勤工作而言，是最大的回报。海上青焙坊大家庭万岁！
