Our students step into the realm of bakery!
After two days off, our young bakers are ready to begin baking classes. On Monday morning, our students set off from Caoyang Vocational School with their teachers to reach the baking center. The baking center, where most of SYB’s classes take place, has now welcomed 10 batches of students and witnessed them growth from novices to professional bakers.
On that day, our bread teacher Zhang Shuai and pastry teacher Jin Huizi introduced bakery roundly. They also presented all the baking center’s tools and explained in detail how they should be used. Students also discovered the tall hats, which symbolize baking. For most of them, it was the first time they tried on these hats. All were excited about trying them on. We can anticipate the students’ professional baking life through the image of these youngsters wearing tall white hats, with attentive looks on their faces.
Over the course of the coming week, our students will start with bread training. Here are some photos of their first class!
On Monday, our students began their journey towards becoming bakers. During this one-year program, they will complete internships, and be involved in various courses and activities. They will cover large distances in small steps, and here are their first tiny steps. I believe that they have already proved they have enough courage and confidence to face any adversity in the coming year.
