A Special Reunion for A Unique Batch
The 12th batch of students might be the most special batch in SYB’s history. They’ve gone through the pandemic. They’ve taken online classes that no batches ever took before. They had to stay out of the campus for 14 days’ of health observation before coming back for training. They’re having an unusual training schedule, which might be the longest semester compared to all others. And because all of the above unique experiences, they can certainly be defined as to having extraordinary maturity and preservance.

For our experienced young bakers, making mooncakes wasn’t that hard. It took about an hour to finish, and by then, the room was filled with joy.
During the buffet dinner after that, with all the laughing and talking, sharing and caring — the traditional spirit of the Mid-autumn Festival permeated the atmosphere.
After all that has happened in this special year, it was absolutely wonderful to have this great reunion. We hope we will see you on the same day, every year after you graduate. Just like the origin from which Shanghai Young Baker’s Chinese name came from –
’Rising above the sea is a bright moon; Shared by all, near or afar.’
