Have you heard about the Kings cake before?

The Kings’ cake is made of delicate layers of puff pastry and filled with a smooth almond cream or apple compote. It is traditionally eaten by the French to celebrate Epiphany holiday, on January 6th. There is either a bean or porcelain-made-of lucky charm inside the cake and it is said that whoever eats the cake will be blessed with lucks and he or she might become the King or Queen for the day.

国王饼烤好后可见许多分层，口感酥酥脆脆，满口丝滑的杏仁奶油和苹果粒。依照传统，这是法国人每年1月6日晚上举行活动庆祝耶酥显灵时所吃的食物。有的国王饼里面会有一个豆子或其他特殊的小东西，有幸吃到这个特殊的国王饼的人据说运气会特别好，而且有一天会成为国王或女王。
