ETTI: empowerment of Tibetans through vocational training
The Eastern Tibet Training Institute (ETTI) is a not-for-profit organization based in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in China’s south-western Yunnan Province. Since its founding in 2004, ETTI has helped more than 1,000 people find employment, start new businesses and improve their livelihoods.
ETTI is providing people in Eastern Tibet with the skills and resources needed to access new economic and social opportunities. Through targeted vocational training programs, ETTI is empowering Tibetans and other ethnic minorities with valuable skills in tourism and hospitality, green technology, computing ,accounting, small business management and agriculture.
ETTI’s programs include rural enterprise training, youth training, technical training and small business training. It’s mission is to improve livelihoods in China’s western regions by providing free access to specialized vocational training and influence national and local government approaches to vocational educational training in disadvantaged regions.

藏东培训中心是位于云南省迪庆藏族自治县的非盈利机构。2004年成立至今，藏东培训中心已帮助1000多人就业、经商并提高他们的生活水平。
藏东培训中心致力于为西藏东部的人提供技术和资源，借此让他们拥有更多的经济、社会方面的机遇。通过专门的职业培训，藏东培训中心让西藏及其他少数民族群众拥有了在旅游、绿色科技、计算机工程、会计、经济管理和农业方面的技术。
藏东培训中心的项目包括了农村企业培训、青少年培训、技术培训和中小企业培训。通过提供免费的、专业的职业培训，它致力于提高中国西部的生活水平，从而影响中央及地方政府，为欠发达地区的人群提供职业教育和培训。
