恭贺智行基金会旗下社企咖啡店开办营业！
It had been a long-time dream of Chung To, the founder and director of Chi Heng Foundation. This July 16th, it finally came true: Village 127, a French-style bakery and café with a social mission, opened its doors in Shanghai.
2015年7月16日，承载着社会公益使命的法式面包咖啡厅Village127在上海开门纳客了！这是智行基金会创始人兼主席杜聪憧憬许久的愿望，如今终于得以实现。
Located on West Nanjing Road, Village 127 prides itself on providing safe, healthy and fresh products made from imported ingredients, all while offering its patrons a chance to support a social cause.
这家Village 127咖啡厅坐落于南京西路，全部产品采用进口原料制成，以供应安全、健康、新鲜的面包见长。顾客在该店消费的同时，也在为社会事业作贡献。
Village 127’s name is inspired by the 127 rural village students who were first to receive funding from the Chi Heng Foundation for their studies. Since the beginning of the scholarships in 2002, more than 18,000 children have benefited from the Foundation’s help, and many programs have been developed to foster equal education opportunities.
咖啡店取名为Village 127的灵感源于智行基金会资助的第一批来自农村（village）孩子，总共127位。自2002年创办助学金以来，已有超过18,000名孩子得到了基金会的帮助。随后，许多致力于促进教育平等的项目也相继开展。
Shanghai Young Bakers (SYB) is one such program. In 2008, when a group of French volunteers set up SYB as a one-year training program that empowers marginalised youth with French bakery and pastry skills, Chi Heng Foundation were amongst the first to see the initiative’s potential and to recommend students to join. In 2010, SYB officially became part of the Chi Heng family when the Foundation accepted to take charge of its administrative and legal structure, thereby ensuring the long-term stability of the project.
海上青焙坊（SYB）便是其中一个。2008年，一批法国志愿者开创了为社会边缘化年轻人提供一年法式烘焙培训的项目。成立之初，智行基金会就看到了该倡议的发展潜力，开始力荐学生加入。而2010年，海上青焙坊更是将行政管理与法律依据部分正式纳入智行基金会的组织架构中，从而拥有了长期稳定运营的条件。
Today, Shanghai Young Bakers is very proud to support Village 127 and its social mission.
时至今日，海上青焙坊能够无比自豪地说，我们对Village 127及其社会使命有所支持和回馈。
The entire bakery and pastry line has indeed been developed by a graduate of the Shanghai Young Bakers class of ‘2010. More SYB graduates are looking to join the bakery team as it offers them a chance to work with high-quality products while giving back to society.
Village 127的面包和面点生产线正是由一位海上青焙坊2010届毕业生开发完成的。也有更多从SYB毕业的学员开始考虑加入这个烘焙团队，在接触高端面包生产的同时回馈社会。
The dream of opening a social café was one that Shanghai Young Bakers also shared for a long time, and one that seemed like a natural extension of its social enterprise services, that today include student bread sales at weekend markets and catering services to companies and individuals for events or meetings. However, as the SYB team focused on its training expertise and strived to make sure that its resources were allocated in priority to its social work with its students, opening and running a bakery seemed increasingly ambitious.
海上青焙坊自身同样致力于拓展社会企业服务，包括在周末集市出售学生制作的面包，为公司和个人的各项活动承办面点，（开设公开课）等。但经营属于自己的社企咖啡店却还是美丽而羞涩的梦想——目前我们仍以保证烘焙培训的专业性为重，所有的资源优先考虑分配给我们的学生，暂未有经营店铺的条件。
It is extremely exciting that Chi Heng Foundation took on this challenge and is now bringing this socially meaningful space to Shanghai.
