Learn Baking from a World-Class Baker
We have invited worldclass professional baker Zhou Bin to lead the last Master Class of the semester. On July 30, Mr. Zhou will teach you how to make Japanese bread, French Puff Pastry and Soft European bread. In addition, he will present a detailed explanation of artistic breads.
What types of bread will Zhou Bin be teaching in this Master Class?
– JAPANESE STYLE BREAD –
When one thinks of bread, Japan does not usually come to mind. However, in Japan, they have created a wide variety of breads that are uniquely Japanese and have developed their own niche in the world of bread. The soft texture of Japanese bread is very popular in China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. In this last Master Class of the season, Mr. Zhou will teach you how to make the following types of bread:

– PUFF PASTRIES –
Also known as Danish, puff pastries are a traditional type of French bread. Their light and crispy texture, multilayered look, and nut or jam filling, make them popular throughout the world. Mr. Zhou will present several creations derived from the puff pastry family. Such as:

Zhou Bin is a national level master baker and judge with over 20 years of baking experience. In 2015, he took first place in the Chinese National and Asian Louis Lesaffre Cup (LLC) competitions. In 2016, Mr. Zhou was a proud member of the Chinese team which took fourth place at the Baking World Cup (CMB) held in Paris. And for 2018 Mr. Zhou has been selected to participate in the Baking Masters Competition (MASTERS) to be held in Paris.
COURSE DETAILS
Date: 30th July 2017, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Please arrive by 8:45 AM)
Address: SYB Baking Center, Shanghai, Putuo District
Course will be presented in Mandarin Chinese
Participants: Minimum 6, Maximum16
All participants will receive a course completion certificate.
Methodology: Mainly demonstration with some hands-on participation
Cost: RMB1800. Includes lunch, chef’s jacket, apron, and course completion certificate.
Joint Registration: Register together with a friend by 6:00PM July 27 and pay just RMB1600 per person
Payment: RMB300 is due at time of registration. The remaining portion of fees can be paid prior to class by bank transfer or in cash on the day of class. Registration fees are not refundable.
