Time for intensive French classes at Cavilam in Vichy

“Oui!”, Zhang Shuai and Jin Huizi replied proudly when the welcome staff at Cavilam asked them if it was their first day of school there.

It was early on Monday 23rd June and they were due for a placement test which would assign them their class for the week. In Cavilam, the teachers assess their students’ level on a weekly basis to make sure they are always studying at the right pace, so luckily Zhang Shuai and Jin Huizi were not too stressed about making mistakes during their first exam in France. Soon they were sitting – in separate classes, to avoid speaking Chinese together – with Colombians, Germans, Japanese, Americans, Pakistanis, and other people whose country they had never even heard of. Encouraged by their classmates’ equal clumsiness, they introduced themselves and their country and prepared to make new friends.

In Vichy, both Zhang Shuai and Jin Huizi are staying with host families. That way they can practice their French while dining over delicious homemade French cuisine, and enjoy the luxury of a renovated attic bedroom to sleep soundly.

Outside of classes, they noticed how beautiful Vichy was while touring this quaint little thermal town, and have already signed up to take part in the sports, dance, cinema, student breakfast and other free activities offered by the school!

No doubt that in two months, they will be fully prepared to start their bakery and pastry training in Aurillac!

维希卡维兰——法语学习进行时！

“Oui”当卡维兰的工作人员向他们询问这是否是他们上学的第一天是，张帅和金会子自豪地回答道。

6月23日，周一，清晨，他们要进行一个入学考试。学校回根据结果为他们之后一周的课程分班。在卡维兰，老师们每周都会对学生的语言水平进行评估，以保证他们在持续学习。张帅和金会子对于在法国的第一场考试并没与很大的压力。很快，他们被分在不同的班级里，以防止他们会情不自禁地一起讲起中文。班级里有着来自哥伦比亚、德国、日本、美国、巴基斯坦和其他一些他们从未听说过的国家的同学。由于大家的法语都不是特别流利，他们都勇敢地做自我介绍并做好了结交新朋友的准备。

在维希，张帅和金会子会和他们的寄宿家庭呆在一起，这样他们就可以练习法语、和家里人一起品尝美味的法式烹饪并在新装修过的美丽阁楼卧室里安然入睡。

课堂之外，他们环游了这个古色古香的温暖小镇，领略了维希的美丽。他们也已经注册了学校提供的体育、舞蹈、电影、学生早餐等各种免费的活动！

毫无疑问，在两个月之内他们将会为在奥里亚克烘焙学校的烘焙西点学习作好充分的语言准备！
