SYB STUDENTS VISIT THE INTERNATIONAL FAIR TRADE BAKERY CHINA
On May the 15th 2014, SYB students gathered to visit the International Trade Fair for the Baking and Confectionery Industry that took place at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from May the 13th to May the 16th 2014.
Largest trade fair of its kind in the Asian region, Bakery China offers a very special opportunity for individuals and companies to find Baking and Confectionery industries all at once. For SYB students, it is a great occasion to discover absolutely all the aspects of bread, cakes, pastries and sweets industries, from ovens and refrigeration to confectionery machines, baking appliances, ingredients and accessories. But the best part of the visit was certainly when coming across SYB sponsors ! Each sponsor has a special link to the program and all of them have their own way to share their know-how and passion with SYB students.
When they arrived to Lesaffre booth, all students were impressed and happy to meet famous chef Pascal Tepper again. Pascal Tepper, Best Worker in France in the Bakery Trade working for Lesaffre, had been giving them a special training on French Bread the week before and was assisted by SYB teachers Pierre and Nora to offer visitors unique baking demonstrations. During their visit, students even had the rare opportunity to meet Lesaffre Greater China CEO Jean de Lataillade ! Since the creation of the charity program, Lesaffre has been supporting SYB by sharing its expertise in the field of Bakery and by providing free Yeast for the training. Lesaffre is also currently supporting SYB bakery teachers by sponsoring their salary. During this year’s Bakery Fair, the partnership between Lesaffre and SYB appeared stronger than ever with the signature of a contract renewing past cooperation and including special trainings that are to be given by Lesaffre and SYB’s teachers to employees of companies such as Carrefour China.

An other important sponsor of the program is the flour producer Grands Moulins de Paris (GMP) which provides high-quality French floor imported to China through its distributor Sunway. GMP is proudly working with an other Master Baker : Dominique Genty. Thanks to GMP, SYB is able to use high-quality French floor for its training and famous chef Dominique Genty also seized the opportunity to be in China for the Bakery fair to give a unique Master Class to SYB students, showing them how to perfectly use GMP’s flour.
A warm thank you to GMP for their welcome on their outstanding Eiffel Tower designed booth at Bakery China. All students were pleasantly surprised to be received by Christian Poirot, Export Director, and André Perez, Commercial manager at GMP.
To perfectly finish the visit, a last surprise was awaiting SYB students at Sinodis booth. Food and beverage importer, Sinodis generously supports SYB by providing dairy and pastry products for the training including brands such as Valhrona, Elle & Vire, DGF, Milkana and Corman. During Bakery China, Elle&Vire/Corman Chef Jonathan Léger kindly invited SYB students to enjoy a cake decorating demonstration on their booth. All cakes were made with imported ingredients from Sinodis brands and according to SYB students « it tasted even more delicious than it was beautiful !»

If this year’s visit to Bakery China was full of new discoveries for SYB students, it also highlighted the strong link already existing between SYB and sponsors such as Carrefour, Lesaffre, GMP or Sinodis. 海上青焙坊学员参观中国国际焙烤展
2014年5月15日,海上青焙坊的学生们一起去参观了从5月13日至5月16日在上海新国际博览中心举行的中国国际焙烤展。
作为亚洲地区烘焙界最大的贸易展览,中国国际焙烤展使个人和公司能够在展览上找到大部分烘焙和糖果行业公司。对于海上青焙坊的学生来说,这个展览也让他们能够了解到面包、蛋糕、西点和糖果行业的方方面面,从烤箱、冰箱、糖果机、烘烤用具、原材料到零件。但是这次参观最棒的部分还是当海上青焙坊偶遇了他们的赞助商!每个赞助商都和海上青焙坊有着独特的关系,他们通过各自不同的方式来和海上青焙坊的学员们分享烘焙知识以及对这个行业的满腔热情!
当大家来到了乐斯福公司的展厅,学员们高兴地再次见到了著名的烘焙师Pascal Tepper。Pascal Tepper是法国烘焙行业最出色的烘焙师,这次展会上也为乐斯福公司工作。他上周为海上青焙坊学生们带来了一节特殊的法式烘焙课,而这次在SYB的老师张政海和王莉的帮助下,Pascal Tepper 正在为烘焙展的观众们演示烘焙过程。当他们在参观时,学生们还难得地见到了乐斯福大中华地区总裁Jean De Lataillade先生!从海上青焙坊成立之初,乐斯福就一直通过和SYB分享他们在烘焙界的知识并为SYB培训提供免费的酵母产品来支持海上青焙坊的运作。乐斯福目前也正通过支付SYB老师们的工资来支持海上青焙坊。在今年的烘焙展上,乐斯福和海上青焙坊之间的合作关系变得更加紧密,因为我们之间又续签了合作协议,而这份协议中涵盖了乐斯福和海上青焙坊会为家乐福中国等公司提供特殊培训的内容。

SYB另一个重要的赞助商是面粉生产商巴黎大磨坊,巴黎大磨坊一直以来都通过经销商Sunway向中国出口优质法国面粉。巴黎大磨坊也拥有一位烘焙界的大师:Dominique Genty。正是由于巴黎大磨坊的帮助,海上青焙坊能够在培训中使用他们提供的优质面粉,同时,大师Dominique Genty也在中国国际焙烤展期间为SYB学生提供了一节演示课程,教会学员们如何最好地使用巴黎大磨坊的面粉。
感谢巴黎大磨坊在他们埃菲尔铁塔状的展厅前热烈地欢迎了SYB的学员们。看到巴黎大磨坊出口部经理Christian Poirot和市场部经理André Perez亲自欢迎学员们的到来,大家都受宠若惊。
参观的最后一站是西诺迪斯的展厅。食品饮料出口商西诺迪斯慷慨地为海上青焙坊的培训提供乳制品和甜点原料,其中的品牌包括:Valhrona, Elle & Vire, DGF, Milkana 和 Corman。在中国国际焙烤展期间,Elle&Vire/Corman的大厨Jonathan Léger慷慨地邀请了SYB学员在展厅欣赏他的蛋糕装饰演示。所有的蛋糕都是由西诺迪斯旗下品牌提供的原料制成。同学们都说道:“这些蛋糕的美味程度甚至超过了它们外表的美丽程度!”

今年的中国国际焙烤展对于学员们来说充满了崭新的发现,同时也加强了海上青焙坊和例如家乐福、乐斯福、巴黎大磨坊和西诺迪斯等各赞助商们之间的合作和联系。正如我们一同庆祝今年中法建交50周年以来两国之间长久的友谊一样,在海上青焙坊,大家也庆祝了我们和热心的赞助商们长期而成功的合作关系,这是这样的合作让我们的培训项目成为了可能并不断提高!
