How did you celebrate the ‘Children’s Day’ on June 1st this year? Shanghai Young Bakers was invited to celebrate the occasion at the Pudong campus of Shanghai French school, with more 300 hundreds of students and their parents! We were there to sell breads and pastries made especially for this event by SYB teachers so that to fundraise for our program, and it was fun and rewarding to see so many happy faces!
To make sure the all the kids and their parents could enjoy their favorite French bakeries and pastries, our teachers prepared a wide variety of products, and presented them beautifully and deliciously on our stand. We had croissants, pain au chocolat, pain au raisin, cookies, brioches, banana cakes, madeleine, macaroons, Fenetra, brownies, and also quiches and pizzas! Many of the products the author of this article, who is in charge of SYB’s selling at markets, hadn’t had a chance to try before!
It was a good opportunity for SYB to promote our charity program among French families living in China, and let them know about the delicious breads and pastries SYB produces! Many times we were told that our croissants, or quiches, are as good as the ones in France, and we were very proud to say ‘Merci Beaucoup!’

今年的六一儿童节你是如何度过的？海上青焙坊来到上海法国学校的浦东校区，与300多名学生以及他们的家长共同欢度儿童节！我们来此售卖由培训师特别制作的法式面包和蛋糕，同时为青焙坊筹集资金。能够看到这么多欢快的笑脸，实在是不虚此行！
为了让所有的孩子和家长能尽情享用他们最爱的法式烘焙产品，老师们贴心地准备相当多品种的产品，在当日极具艺术感地摆在了我们的摊位上。我们准备了羊角可颂，巧克力丹麦，葡萄干丹麦卷，曲奇，布里奥，香蕉蛋糕，玛德琳，马卡龙，香橙派，布朗尼，当日还有乳蛋饼和披萨！这里边的很多蛋糕连，本文的作者，也是市场的负责人，之前都不曾品尝过。
我们得以向现居上海的法国家庭推荐我们的项目，向大家展示了青焙坊出品的美味面包和蛋糕。顾客们品尝后常常赞叹道，和他们在法国吃到的味道一模一样，每当这时，我们就会很自豪地对他们说“谢谢”！
