About Shanghai Young Bakers

Shanghai Young Bakers (SYB) is a charity program based in Shanghai, China providing a fully sponsored training in French and Chinese bakery and pastry to marginalized Chinese youth from 17 to 23 years of age. The goal is to allow them to find qualified jobs in the bakery-pastry making sector and lead an independent life after graduation.

Graduation Ceremony Volunteers

Exciting! The 10th batch SYB students will graduate this summer! The Graduation ceremony will be held on July 9th. Since it would be an event more than hundreds of people participating, SYB is looking for volunteers to join our team and provide on-site support in the graduation ceremony, such as registration, food&drink service, lucky draw, etc.

Notice：Volunteers should participate from5:00pm to 11:00pm entirely

We are really sorry that we could not offer a flexible schedule. Since it is on Monday evening, please take notice of your workday hour and last metro.

Market and Translation volunteers

How to join us?

We require all volunteers to participate an orientation meeting before they volunteer, so that they can get a basic understanding of SYB and of volunteer role requirements.
